The "Buzzsaw" or "Whirligig" is a classic toy that's entertained kids of all ages for generations. To use it, grip the wooden handles about 12 inches apart, gently swing the disc round and round to twist up the string, then find the rhythm of pulling and releasing the handles to make the disc spin so fast it buzzes!
These toys are made from your choice of durable and attractive Pennsylvania hardwoods: reclaimed barn wood (chestnut), maple, oak, or walnut. The wood has a hand-applied finish of Danish oil—a penetrating oil that protects the wood while bringing out its natural beauty.
Each disc has a diameter of approximately 2-3/8” and is about 1/4” thick. Handles are about 1-3/4” in length, and the sturdy nylon string spans about 18” when fully extended.
Toys are individually wrapped in a cellophane sleeve that includes a printed QR code that links to a short YouTube video tutorial.
