This 2-in-1 strategy peg game set features the classic games Fox & Geese as well as Triangle Peg Solitaire.

Fox & Geese is a two player game with different objectives for each opponent. Geese attempt to hem the fox in until it can no longer move. The fox captures enough geese to make it impossible to be cornered. Both sides must move to adjacent open spots connected by lines, but only the fox can jump over pieces.

On the reverse side of the board is a classic solitaire game. Set up the pegs in all openings except one. Jump the pegs over each other in order to remove pieces from the board, and try to eliminate as many pieces as you can. Finish the game with one piece left, and you are a genius!

Small enough to travel or stow away in a drawer (board measures approximately 4-1/2 in. square and 1-1/2 in. high), it is attractive enough to display on an end table or a book shelf.

16 hardwood pegs are included. Choose a board made either from figured maple or poplar. Note: as a natural material, wood has unique variations in tone, grain, and color. The games shown are not necessarily the ones that will ship, but all game sets are identical in size.

The games are finished with several coats of lacquer and come packaged in a cellophane pouch, ready for gift giving.
